You Ever Wonder

Ever wonder why relationship shit is such a popular yet draining topic to talk about? Because a lot of us aint good at that shit and when we hear the other perspectives of the dynamics that exist, it becomes frustrating because a lot of us ARE NOT WILLING to do the work HOWEVER, we absolutely enjoy entertaining the idea of placing ourselves in a hierarchy. We LOVE to say what we do, what we think we are good at in relationships. We can boast about that. We can tell others where we think they messed up. That’s the EASY part. The draining part is where you realize you ain’t really a good person. You not really as high up in the hierarchy as you think. I can’t hold you, it definitely takes a lot to not just acknowledge your shortcomings, but to be real and say it out loud, to have someone possibly give you a reality check….. that’s a different beast. We don’t like correction. Imma go out a step further and say a lot of us don’t like guidance for real. We want to “pave our own lane” so bad that we are willing to DESTROY great relationships because we are so selfish. And I hate that for us. We gonna get better tho.
